Lead Field Service Technician

As a Lead Field Service Technician, you will be leading successful on-site installation, servicing and repair\nprocesses of complex equipment and systems in HVAC, mechanical, electrical or\nfire controls without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work\ninstructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of\nEngineering teams. You will make improvements to training guides and\ndocumentation. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field to\nquickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation\nof proper equipment. You will train the customer on proper usage,\ntroubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will\nrepresent Honeywell at industry conferences and provide technical\npresentations.

Key Responsibilities:

7 days on call rotation every 4-5 weeks, will be traveling throughout surrounding areas. Ability\n to explain the function, operating characteristics, and appropriate\n applications of automation control loops as found in direct digital,\n analog electronic, electric, and pneumatic commercial control systems.Ability\n to utilize general-purpose software and specific building automation\n software to monitor and control a building HVACR system and building\n electrical systems.Applying\n safe practices to the installation and troubleshooting of modern building\n automation systemsInstall\n or Repair Work OrdersProvide\n Customer SupportMentor\n and Train Jr. Field Service Representatives

YOU MUST HAVE

3-5+ years of field experience in HVAC or industrial controls. Valid driver's license. Willing to travel within service area. Familiarity with electronic/digital controls. Ability to troubleshoot/install electrical systems. Ability to multi-task, strong work ethic, customer empathy. Experienced in MS Office. 

WE VALUE

NICET I or II certification.Field experience in fire controls or mechanical inspections. Previous technical/installation experience.Displays industry professionalism such as work ethic, communication, and time-management.Previous customer service experience.Good written and oral communication.Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes.Bachelor's degree or technical/professional certification
