Lead Field Service Technician

As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to join our Field Service team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize field service operations, driving customer satisfaction and business growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Sr. Field Service Supervisor and you will be travelling to customer sites with the home office based out of Markham, Ontario.  Customer sites will be located in Downtown & West Toronto, Peel region, Halton region, York region, Simcoe region and other areas as needed.

In this role, you will impact the success of our field service operations, customer satisfaction, and the growth of the organization. You will work with critical building management, HVAC and security systems with the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities. In this role you will help our customers to use technology to improve productivity and increase the value of services provided to our many different customers.

The primary focus is to provide continuing service support for Honeywell’s Commercial Controls Building Automation HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPreventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Emergency Support maintenance of customer's Honeywell Quality Control Systems.\nTroubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.\nPerform sensor verification and calibration.\nPublish critical reporting to customers including Monthly Performance, Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.\nActively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.\nProvide 7 X 24 emergency support to customer and technicians on a rotation schedule with other Honeywell Technicians.\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n3 years of experience in building automation / HVAC controls including but not limited to RTU, AHU, Boiler and VAV Control systems.\nDegree / diploma in a related field.\nMust have valid G licence.\nShould be available to provide on-call support as required.\n\n

 
WE VALUE

\n\n3+ years of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience.\nAbility to work safely within the Honeywell/Customer HSE requirements.\nBe able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision.\nCritical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems.\nDesign/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems as knowledge is acquired.\nCapable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports.\nAble to conduct formal meetings with customer management personnel.\nCapable of evaluating control effectiveness as knowledge is acquired.\nCapable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors.\nKnowledge of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration.\nProject a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.\n\n
