Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible to ensure all statutory and regulatory filings including statutory financial statements, tax filings and any other regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country statutory and regulatory requirements for entity for TürkiyeConducts and coordinate all activities from planning of audit timeline, signing of engagement letter, preparation of statutory financial statement till the completion of audit, statutory financial statements, and tax filingsIdentification of US GAAP to statutory differences, adjustment analysis & decision making on proper accounting treatmentWorks self-sufficiently to resolve all audit queries without any assistance or after consultation with extended team members or people leader if neededDrive continuous improvements in all aspects of the statutory financial reporting operational processes, with a focus on improvement in execution and optimizationCollaborate with cross functional partners to receive inputs, seek review and approval of outputs and maintain updates of status and progressSupport people leader to resolve daily operational issuesBasic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the areaMay have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined frameworkResolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in relevant field, ACCA or equivalent is preferableAdvance knowledge of US-GAAP, IFRS and Turkish GAAPMinimum 2 years audit background with big audit firms are preferableMinimum 3 years of finance experienceAdvanced level of English and Turkish both oral & writtenBeing comfortable with hybrid working conditionBeing comfortable living in Kocaeli or İstanbul
