Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiatives in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Lead Fire Protection Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
+ Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency
+ Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
+ Will serve as the lead engineer for entire system-level projects, ensuring robust engineering analysis and decision-making.
+ Will perform system-level tradeoff analyses to optimize performance and functionality.
+ Wil collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity analysts to integrate security into engineering initiatives.
+ Will represent the company with professional-grade engineering products and innovative solutions.
+ Will act as the designated Contractor's Qualified Fire Protection Engineer (QFPE).
Requirements:
+ Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
+ Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) who has passed the Fire Protection Engineering examination administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
+ Must have 5+ years of experience in the fire protection engineering field.
+ Must be willing and able to work on-site at one of the following DLA locations: Fort Belvoir, VA, Richmond, VA, New Cumberland, PA, Columbus, OH, Tracy CA.
+ Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10% of the time on an as needed basis.
