Lead - Fire & Safety
Develop and implement fire prevention and safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures. Lead and manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure a proactive and safety-conscious culture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of operations, including emergency response planning and incident management. Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety regulations, codes, and standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance. Investigate and analyze safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents to identify root causes and develop preventive measures. Prepare and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, emphasizing the importance of safety awareness and personal responsibility. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fire and safety management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance safety performance. Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, Safety Management, Industrial Safety, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in fire safety management is preferred. Certification Required Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Experience 8-13 years of experience in fire safety management within the Copper industry or related field. Demonstrated track record of implementing effective safety programs and protocols. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of safety professionals.
