Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer who will assume total responsibility and accountability for our engineering operations. This role involves leading the engineering team, overseeing project coordination, and working directly with customers to evaluate and fulfill software, hardware, and firmware engineering needs.
ResponsibilitiesAssume total responsibility and accountability for the company's engineering operations.Manage hiring, firing, and performance reviews.Attend meetings with new and existing customers to evaluate software, hardware, and firmware engineering needs.Capture client requirements and create internal requirement documents.Handle client billing.Coordinate and lead all engineering projects with the internal engineering team on a regular basis.Stay up to date on Industry 4.0 technology.Essential Skills5+ years of firmware/embedded systems experience.Around 3 years of leadership experience.Experience working directly with customers.Up to date with recent software, firmware, and hardware technology.Experience with RTOS, wireless network communication protocols, writing device drivers.Experience working in a safety-critical/regulated environment.Confident personality.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a similar field.Work Environment
Preference is 100% onsite but there's also some remote flexibility. You will be part of a small team of 10 members. This role offers the potential for partial ownership within the company.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.12
