Come join our Reyes Fleet Management team located in LaCrosse, WI. Seeking a Lead Fleet Diesel Mechanic for our small shop to oversee trailer and tractor maintenance repairs of all fleet. This role will require the ability to work with minimal supervision and independently. Pay: $35.00-38.00/HR based on experience/qualifications Shift: 4:10s Tuesday - Friday 12:00PM-10:30PM OFF Saturday-Monday! Position Responsibilities: Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by adhering to safety guidelines, providing guidance and training for hourly mechanics to assure that all repairs are completed on time, and communicate with operations team Manage the parts room operations and inventory requirements as well as manage road calls and assist customers with roadside services Plan schedule and assign maintenance work/activities of the maintenance shop and develop opportunities for waste reduction, downtime analysis and process improvements Oversee daily PM maintenance for the fleet including engine repairs and scheduling outsourced 3rd party repairs, and other technician duties Assist Fleet Shop Manager to assure that all documentation is complete for the shop/personnel (Track warranty claims) Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 4 plus years of related experience Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles Ability to frequently lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) Preferred Education and Experience: Technical School Certification Equal Opportunity Employee & Physical Demands Reyes Holdings and its businesses are equal opportunity employers.
