Lead Flutter Engineer 

We are seeking an experienced Lead Flutter Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of mobile applications that are both easily testable and adaptable for future enhancements. In this role, you will assume full ownership of the codebase, establish best practices, and guide the team in addressing complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Flutter and Dart, a solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns, and demonstrated leadership in navigating technical challenges. A passion for exploring new technologies and continuously improving development practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on a distributed remote team Take full ownership of the codebase, ensuring high quality and stability Establish and enforce best practices for code quality and code review processes Simplify complex technical challenges for team De-risk product development by implementing sound software architecture and comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that the addition of new features does not introduce regressions or instability Foster a high-performance engineering culture that values autonomy, flexibility, while maintaining accountability Help hire, support and mentor all members of the team Communicate and share progress through the agile process

Minimum Experience:

6+ years of relevant work experience, including programming experience with Flutter in Dart Leadership experience guiding engineers through complex technical challenges Experience with software architecture paradigms and design patterns Experience with agile software development process Experience with multiple native development platforms, such as iOS or Android

Key Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Mobile app publishing to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, Firebase, mobile analytics, remote configuration, CI/CD and production monitoring techniques for mobile apps Experience with feature flagging to manage and control the rollout of new features in production Front end software architectures (MV*) Unit and UI testing in Flutter/Widgets Multiple app flavors/targets Dependency Injection RESTful API usage
