Lead Food Service Attendant at Providence Portland Medical Center- Full-Time, Variable Schedule.  

$2,000 hiring/sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

All Food Service staff must provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. The Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines must be adhered to at all times.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Proper sanitation procedures and practices must be following to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area.

Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital, and department standards, policies and procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association. 3 years experience in food service. Dietary coordinators: demonstrated diet office computer experience. Catering coordinators: demonstrated event scheduling software experience. Retail coordinators: demonstrated knowledge of point of sale software experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with event scheduling software experience. Food service management experience.
