Job Description
Responsible for the general operations and sanitation of the department including the main kitchen, Café, Eatery, storeroom and unit pantries. Oversees set-up and break down of catered functions, cash night drop and vending program. Reports on quality and participates in project improvement projects as requested.
Job Responsibility
* Responsible for the general operations of the department including scheduling staff and assigning duties.Informs management of disciplinary actions which need to be addressed.Investigates employee related accidents and completes necessary forms. * Opens and closes the kitchen and Café including handling monies according to policy and procedure. * Ensures timely delivery of meals to patients and patient services (nourishments, snacks, late trays, etc.) in absence of management. * Investigates customer complaints; reports equipment malfunctions; conducts pantry and kitchen inspections for cleanliness and temperature recording. * Oversees the catering, set-up and break down of catered functions. * Participates in data collection for project improvement projects. Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Dietary Manager's Association certification, preferred. Minimum of two (2) years experience in a related field.
