Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?

The Lead, Production Associate will be responsible for training, documentation, safety, quality and productivity for the assigned shift. This individual will act as a backup for the shift Supervisor when they are absent.

A Day in the Life:Assist the supervisor in daily maintenance of shift functions including accurate tracking of production metrics, maintaining staffing assignments, interpreting and following production schedules, communicating opportunities and concerns and encouraging growth and morale amongst employees.Check the quality of the product being manufactured and provide guidance for corrective action as needed.Review Operator checks as recorded in the batch records and logbooks.Investigates and writes events and CAPAs in Trackwise.Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Required: Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting or related field.Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Excellent verbal and written skillsMust exemplify leadership potential and decision-making skills.The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.Must be able to work overtime if necessary.Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.

Close and color vision is required.
