Lead I - Business Analysis (US Healthcare + Billing)

Role Proficiency:

Business Analyst - Billing (US Healthcare) is responsible for providing advanced support for healthcare billing systems and processes, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of billing-related issues specific to the US healthcare industry. This role involves deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, L2 support and Product engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Billing Support and Issue Resolution: Provide second-level support for billing-related inquiries and issues within the US healthcare system. Diagnose and resolve complex billing problems and payment discrepancies. Ensure all billing issues are resolved within SLA timeframes and comply with healthcare regulations. US Healthcare Billing Expertise: Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and reimbursement procedures. Assist in the implementation and support of billing systems that comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Process Improvement: Analyze existing billing processes and identify opportunities for improvement specific to the US healthcare context. Implement enhancements to streamline billing operations and reduce errors. Document and maintain updated procedures and workflows for billing processes. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with customer teams to resolve billing issues and implement process improvements. Facilitate communication between technical teams and end-users to ensure clear understanding of billing requirements and solutions and delivery schedule. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review and discuss billing performance and areas for improvement. Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor billing performance and identify trends and discrepancies in healthcare billing system. Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into billing operations and support decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver training sessions for team members and other departments on healthcare billing systems and processes. Create and maintain a knowledge base of common billing issues and solutions. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in healthcare billing and support services. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all billing processes comply with healthcare regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. Implement corrective actions for any identified issues or discrepancies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or support role, with a focus on healthcare billing systems. Experience in US healthcare billing. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with healthcare billing software systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare compliance standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
