Project Overview: The SAP BODS Developer is a role with responsible for ensuring that Data required by SAP implementation projects is delivered to time and quality standards set by the business and system owners. They are the main interface between business data owners and the SAP implementation project. The BODS Developer analyst collaborates with other roles, especially the ETL Data Load Technician, Module owner(s), System analyst(s), System Owner, Business Owner and Business analyst(s) to ensure that Master Data in SAP meets the requirements of the business implementing SAP. Role Scope / Deliverables: Responsible (responsible for carrying out the entrusted task) • Facilitating the capture of master data requirements from business data owners and SAP System Analysts to ensure that migrated data is fit for purpose. • Specifying functional requirements for ETL processes to meet business requirements. • Implementing, in close collaboration with ETL Data Load Technician transformation processes that result in timely production of SAP load files. • Specifying test processes and steps to ensure that ETL processes perform as expected. • Coordinating the validation of the ETL process, including working with the relevant CSV and QA teams to ensure that formal validation processes are followed during the data migration. • Coordinate migration iteration planning and execution in lower environments, assist with migration cutover tasks and post go-live support. • Specify requirements relating to any relevant interfaces or batch jobs and communicate these to the ETL Data Load Technician and BASIS teams. • Responsible for performing changes in accordance with "Change Management Procedure" (IT-ETO-SOP-0002). • Responsible for adhering to information security policies during and after implementation. • Responsible for planning and reporting status of ETL activities to PMO and Project Management. Key Skills: A successful candidate is likely to have between 3 and 5 years prior experience using SAP Data Services as an ETL tool for migrating data in to SAP S/4 Hana systems (SAP BODS 4.2 and BODS 4.3). LSMW/LTMC experience would also be essential, as will Oracle, SQL Server and S/4 HANA experience. Usage of BODS with integration to SLT as source with ODP Framework as well as Ariba real-time interfaces will be required. Usage of BODS to AWS S/4 buckets as target is also required. Knowledge of SAP S/4 Sales Order and PO documents and related IDOC updates via SAP BODS is required. Prior experience and knowledge of using SAP Rapid Data Migration to SAP S/4HANA within SAP BODS will be a critical accelerator for the project.
