Lead I - Siebel Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Siebel CRM System Administrator to manage and maintain our Siebel CRM environment. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, health, and performance of the Siebel CRM system. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Siebel CRM and a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining system availability.
Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain the Siebel CRM system, ensuring its smooth and uninterrupted operation. System Health Monitoring: Perform regular system health checks to ensure 24x7 availability and optimal performance. Siebel CRM Environment Management: Handle Siebel CRM environments under Windows OS, ensuring timely updates, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Debugging: Utilize Siebel debugging skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve code/data issues within the Siebel CRM application. Collaboration: Work with global teams to ensure the system meets business needs and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. Shift Flexibility: Be available for second-shift work (11:30 AM - 8:30 PM IST) to monitor and address any critical application issues. Must-Have Skills: Siebel CRM System Administration: Hands-on experience in Siebel CRM administration, including system setup, configuration, and maintenance. Experience with Siebel CRM on Windows OS: Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing Siebel CRM environments running on Windows OS. System Health Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Experience in performing regular health checks and addressing system performance issues. Siebel Debugging: Strong Siebel debugging skills to identify and resolve issues related to code/data within the Siebel application. Technical Expertise in Siebel 8.x and IP16: In-depth knowledge of Siebel 8.x and IP16 functionality and performance optimization. Collaboration Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with global teams and stakeholders. Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work second shift hours (11:30 AM - 8:30 PM IST) and support critical issues. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Open UI: Knowledge of Siebel Open UI and how it integrates with the Siebel CRM system. SQL Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL databases, querying, and performance tuning. ServiceNow: Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms is a plus. Industry Experience: Knowledge of High Tech and Industrial Manufacturing sectors is advantageous. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siebel CRM administration and troubleshooting.
