Role: ServiceNow Lead Developer
Experience: 6 to 9 Years
Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Trivandrum/ Kochi / Noida
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to drive platform advancements, lead automation transformation efforts, and continuously enhance the ServiceNow environment. This role focuses on strategic leadership of the platform, implementing automation and AI-driven enhancements, and supporting integrations to maximize ServiceNow’s capabilities.
Must-Have Skills:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on platform leadership, automation, and integrations. Technical Skills: Expertise in ServiceNow platform management, scripting, workflows, and REST/SOAP integrations. AI & Automation: Familiarity with AI-driven features, including Generative AI, and experience with automation tools within ServiceNow. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving platform issues. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.Good-to-Have Skills:
Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA). Modules: Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management Professional (ITSM Pro), Security Operations, Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Finance Services Operations (FSO), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and Discovery. ITSM & ITOM: Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and other core ServiceNow modules. Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.Roles and Responsibilities:
Platform Leadership: Act as the technical lead for the ServiceNow platform, overseeing development activities, setting standards, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Automation & Transformation: Lead automation initiatives, drive process transformation, and champion continuous improvement projects that enhance platform efficiency and user experience. New Feature Development - Generative AI: Explore and implement new features leveraging Generative AI, enhancing the platform's capabilities in predictive analysis, natural language processing, and user interaction. Integrations Management: Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and end-to-end process optimization. Technical Guidance: Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical oversight, setting coding standards, and ensuring best practices. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and introduce new methods to optimize platform performance, scalability, and user satisfaction. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure the platform meets organizational needs.
