Key Responsibilities: • Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible to ensure the software solutions and processes meet the required quality standards during the implementation • Develop a comprehensive test plan • Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. • Execute test cases according to the test plan using various testing techniques • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools • Other responsibilities include performing performance testing and documentation • Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • Automated Test Framework (ATF): Lead the implementation and maintenance of Automated Test Framework (ATF) scripts to automate testing and ensure consistent, high-quality releases. • CMDB Validation: Validate the accuracy and reliability of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure alignment with ITSM and CSDM processes. • ITSM Process Testing: Conduct thorough testing of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management, to ensure they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices. • Discovery & Event Management Testing: Test the functionality and performance of ServiceNow Discovery and Event Management modules to ensure proper infrastructure visibility and event handling. • Security & Vulnerability Modules Testing: Test and validate the Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response modules to ensure effective security operations and incident handling. • Defect Tracking & Reporting: Identify, log, and track defects in the system, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. • Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing for ServiceNow modules, ensuring a mix of test methodologies to guarantee product quality. • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that the testing aligns with business objectives. • Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine testing processes, tools, and scripts to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Key Requirements: • ServiceNow Quality Assurance Expertise: Strong experience in quality assurance and testing of ServiceNow modules, with a primary focus on CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • ATF Proficiency: Hands-on experience in implementing and managing Automated Test Framework (ATF) within ServiceNow. • CMDB Validation: Expertise in validating the accuracy and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its integration with ITSM processes. • ITSM Process Testing: Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and experience in testing Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management modules. • Testing Methodologies: Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, with a focus on ensuring the quality of complex ServiceNow implementations. • Scripting & Automation: Ability to create and modify ATF scripts and other automated test scripts. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying potential issues before they impact production. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing within ServiceNow, with a strong focus on CMDB, ATF, and ITSM. • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM or CMDB is a plus. • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. • Knowledge of ITIL practices and ITIL certification is preferred.
