We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with expertise in SmartBear TestComplete to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, desktop, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, scripting, debugging, and performance testing. This role will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by enhancing automation coverage and optimizing testing processes.

Key Responsibilities: Automated Test Development: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete for web, desktop, and mobile applications. Test Framework Design: Design and implement test frameworks to increase automation coverage and enhance test efficiency. Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the stability and performance of applications. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or other defect-tracking tools. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all platforms. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for continuous delivery. Test Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide insights for continuous improvements to testing processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on test automation best practices, introduce new enhancements, and help maintain a high standard of automation practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Test Automation Expertise: 7+ years of experience in test automation using SmartBear TestComplete. Scripting Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, VBScript, or DelphiScript for writing TestComplete automation scripts. Test Methodologies: Experience with keyword-driven and data-driven testing approaches. Platform Experience: Familiarity with testing desktop, web, and mobile applications. API/Web Services Testing: Solid understanding of APIs and web services testing. Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Nice-to-Have Skills: Additional Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other automation testing tools. BDD Frameworks: Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber and SpecFlow. ISTQB Certification: ISTQB or other equivalent certifications in software testing. Cloud-Based Testing: Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
