Job Summary: The PBIRS and MSAS Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Power BI Report Server and SQL Server Analysis Services environments. This role ensures the availability, performance, and security of these systems, enabling the organization to leverage data for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Power BI Report Server and SQL Server Analysis Services. Set up and manage data sources, datasets, and reports in PBIRS. Configure and manage SSAS databases, cubes, and data models. Maintenance and Support: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Apply patches and updates to PBIRS and SSAS environments. Perform regular backups and recovery operations. Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security policies and permissions. Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Performance Optimization: Optimize report and query performance. Tune SSAS cubes and data models for efficient data retrieval.
