Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Portal Backend Developer (EDGE Developer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Guidewire development and be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance backend services for the Guidewire Portal. This role requires experience in designing, developing, and deploying Guidewire EDGE solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire Portal backend services and solutions using Guidewire EDGE. Work with business analysts, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure the proper deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of Guidewire applications. Provide technical expertise in Guidewire EDGE to resolve complex issues, enhance performance, and optimize backend processes. Collaborate in the design and implementation of business rules and workflow automation using Guidewire Studio and related frameworks. Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards are maintained. Mentor junior developers and assist in troubleshooting production issues and bug fixes.

Mandatory Skills:

Guidewire EDGE Developer: Strong experience with Guidewire EDGE platform for portal development. Backend Development: Expertise in backend development practices, including service-oriented architecture, API development, and integrations. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to solve technical problems and troubleshoot complex issues.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Guidewire Studio and Guidewire Cloud. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices. Knowledge of insurance domain and business processes.

Work Environment:

This is a PAN India role. UST location preference.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in Guidewire Portal Development with a focus on EDGE.
