Lead II - Software Testing - Playwright

Job Description: Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field • 5+ years experience as a Software Test Engineer or equivalent in Manual + Automation, with experience delivering high quality, customer focused products through a complete cycle. • Knowledge of cutting edge Microsoft technologies, such as SQL Server, Operating Systems, and network environments, with a passion for new technology. • Self-motivated, pro-active, and organized individual that works well independently or within a team. • A solid understanding of the SDLC and Quality Assurance methodologies and processes. • Proven experience with developing and writing test cases from software requirements • Experience with, as well as a demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain that spans a diverse group of features. • Comfortable setting up both software and hardware systems. • Demonstrated ability to work within an established timeframe to complete projects, and put in extra effort when situations call for it. • Previous experience testing web based applications is strongly desired. • Previous experience working with virtual machine software and environments is strongly desired. • Previous experience testing a localized application is strongly desired. Skills: Playwright JavaScript/TypeScript Automated Testing Continuous Integration (CI) Version Control (Git) Agile Methodologies Location : Kochi, TVM, Chennai, Bangalore Timings : 10:30am to 7:30pm IST. Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright. • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements. • Identify, document, and track software defects. • Develop test plans and test cases. • Ensure the implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration. • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. • Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes. • Run automated test suites regularly, particularly during the CI/CD process, to detect and report defects early in the development cycle. • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
