Job SummaryThis position is responsible for various aspects of Project preparation and implementation including performing/coordinating design reviews for constructability, coordinating planning, scheduling, installation, and testing activities utilizing both Station and vendor personnel. The LIR works for the Project Manager, is a key member of the Project Team, and supports both outage and online activities related to Project work. Provides installation expertise to support development of new project estimates, coordinating Station and vendor installation resources, developing resource load boards, identifying and quantifying risk mitigation strategies, and providing oversight of specialty vendor field activities. This requires strong leadership skills, experience with field activities, and a good understanding of power plant operations and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities Coordinating and directing Project planning, scheduling, installation, and testing activities utilizing both Station and vendor personnel. Includes on-boarding of vendor personnel. Project preparation and implementation including performing/coordinating design reviews for constructability and identification of required materials. Directly supporting Project Managers in Project administration and documentation. Supporting development of project cost estimates. Developing installation strategy including vendor selection and bid evaluations. Tracking procurement of materials. Supporting development of risk and contingency plans. Ensuring vendor qualifications are appropriate and current. Performing corrective action evaluations and actions to correct performance deficiencies. Job Specific QualificationsRequired
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant work experience. Strong Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, or other Power Plant operational experience is required. Ability to organize complex Project installation efforts including coordination of Station Maintenance and Operations support, contract craft resources, and specialty vendor personnel in the installation of Projects.Desired
