Join the top-performing location of one of the nation’s top providers of premium blinds, shades, and shutters as a Lead Installer.  Your Role: As our Lead Installer, you’ll be out in the field, either solo with another team member, visiting customers' homes throughout the Birmingham area. You’ll use your expertise to consult with end users and install our high-end window treatments. You’ll serve as the face of the business to our customers, providing on-the-job consultations and engaging in account management and customer service related tasks before and after. You’ll also serve as a team lead to a team of 5 successful Installers at our highly profitable business.  What We Provide: + Competitive Pay : Hourly wage ranging from $24-25. + Commission: Earn 2% on each sale/install. + Strong Earning Potential : First-year projected earnings up to $69,000. + PTO: 5 days of PTO, 5 sick days, and 6 holidays/year. Wrap your week up early!  Qualifications: + Experience : While experience in sales, customer service, installations, or carpentry is a plus, what we value most is a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. Priority will be given to candidates with experience installing window treatments. Translatable/similar experience from other industries is also highly valued. We are working with in-home sales/installations and a highly detailed product.  + Driver’s License : Must have a clean, valid driver’s license. + Background Check : Must be able to pass a driver-specific background check. We’re looking for someone who actively engages in follow up where needed, always closing the loop for our clients.  + A True Collaborator and Team Player: You thrive in working within an existing frame of process and will ensure seamless installation when interfacing with other team members, always preparing beforehand.  Day-to-Day Responsibilities: + Conduct in-home installations and repairs within a 30-50-mile radius on a team of one or two.  + Provide clients with tailored solutions for their window covering needs, offering on-the-spot problem solving for any installation or repair challenges and consulting with them where needed on unexpected pivots.  + Provide installation team members with support when and where needed, via Slack, other communications tools, or onsite support. + Use specialized tools and technology to ensure precise measurements and a flawless finish. + Communicate with team members via Slack where needed to ensure excellence with each job and progress any necessary follow-up.  + Oversee the entire installation process, from product delivery to final touches, ensuring the highest quality of service. + Manage each installation project by reporting onsite in Mount Olive daily to prep the vehicle for the day’s deliveries.  + Follow up with clients after installations to ensure satisfaction and address any post-installation needs.
