Responsible for reviewing different type of engineering, procurement and construction related C&I deliverables like instrument datasheets, TBE, MRQ, MRP, layout drawings, hook up drawings, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, MIsc. schedules, Instrument load schedule etc.
To review bidders’ technical proposals for control systems, field instruments and provide technical recommendation to procurement team for assigned project.
To propose lessons learnt and value engineering points to optimize overall project procurement cost.
FAT, SAT and commissioning of different control systems like DCS, ESD, PLS, FGS, CCTV, CTFM, ATG and MCMS etc.
To resolve site engineering requests, construction related site queries, site engineering change requests raised by construction and end users.
Follow up with procurement and vendors for scheduled delivery of instruments and systems at site.
To perform audits like pre-FAT, PSSR(Pre-Startup Safety Review), Engineering review etc.
To perform and implement SIL verification & validation and interfaces with cross discipline functions/equipment.
Participation in Control systems FAT at vendor place and SAT at site.
Participation in P&ID review, HAZOP, SIL study with detail engineering contractors and implement the outcome of C&I part.
Compliance of OT cyber security processes as per international code IEC 62443.
Upgradation and implementation of control systems obsolescence plan as per plant requirement.
Manage the Control system and field instrument database for future use in management of change jobs.
Responsible to prepare and report the C&I project progress report to project management team.
To coordinate with engineering contractor for timely completion of engineering activities.
Responsible for maintaining the bulk requirement database, MTO and BOQ for procurement in SAP.
Technical support to construction and O&M during erection and commissioning work.
Train the engineers/sub ordinates within the cross-function C&I fields to achieve multi-skilling as per effective BU framework.
Train and develop the trainees to perform their regular duty after completion of training period.
B.E/ B.Tech in Instrumentation from a reputed institute/ university.
Minimum 16-20 Years of relevant work experience in a large / mid sized organization.
