Job Details:
Responsible for performing select activities related to the clinical management and refill setup of specialty patients under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Activities include but are not limited to communicating with patients, caregivers, and medical staff to accurately coordinate patient deliveries for home and office patients. Make outbound and receive inbound phone calls from patients, caregivers, and medical staff. Perform follow up calls to patients, caregivers, and medical staff as needed and under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
Responsibilities
Provide support to specialty pharmacy team, pharmacy distribution and operations including but not limited onboarding of new Specialty patients.
Maintain and update patient information and medication profiles, complete patient assessments and medication delivery setup under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Provide appropriate and accurate documentation in patient medical record.
Accurately provide copay information to the patient and process payments.
Obtain all information required by Accreditation standards and clinical review by a licensed pharmacist.
Process orders shipping to a patient’s home, medical office or facility. Competently process refills for Oncology and MS patients and hemophilia patients
Maintain or exceed designated quality and productions standards: consistently productivity metrics while maintaining a Rona Call Count lower than 5 per month
Monitor productivity and prioritize orders
Schedule/manage day to day assignments
Provide training to new and existing staff
Provide excellent internal and external customer service, maintaining a service orientation in all interpersonal relations that conveys a positive, professional image.
Act as a conduit of information between specialty pharmacy, operations, and patient, caregiver or medical professional.
Perform in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
Perform other duties/tasks as required and assigned.

Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Pharmacy technician certification is preferred
Prior Specialty healthcare experience is preferred
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
