Lead Integration Architect

We are seeking a Lead Integration Architect to support a large Supply Chain ERP transformation to Oracle Fusion. This is a SFIA Level 5 role, requiring expertise in enterprise integration architecture, API strategy, middleware solutions, and data transformation to enable seamless interoperability between legacy and modern systems.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

As the Lead Integration Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the integration strategy, architecture, and governance required to support a large-scale ERP modernisation programme. You will play a critical role in bridging legacy systems with Oracle Integration Cloud, ensuring a phased transition while maintaining business continuity.

Your role will involve:

Define and implement the enterprise integration roadmap, ensuring alignment with Oracle Fusion ERP transformation.Establish standards for API design, microservices, middleware solutions, and message brokering.Define integration patterns to allow legacy systems to operate alongside Oracle Fusion during the transition.Oversee ETL processes, data migration strategies, and real-time data exchange between systems.Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, regulatory, and industry best practices (ISO 27001, NCSC guidelines, GDPR).Implement robust integration automation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure successful integration delivery.Define and enforce integration SLAs, scalability strategies, and performance monitoring.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in enterprise integration architecture, API management, and middleware solutions.Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).Strong understanding of integration using microservices, event-driven architecture, and message queuing systems.Experience in segmenting legacy systems using integrations for a structured transition.Proficiency in ETL tools, data transformation, and secure data exchange (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, Kafka, MQ, etc.).Knowledge of cloud-based integration patterns (Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS).Experience working within a SIAM model, ensuring supplier interoperability.Understanding of security, authentication, and authorisation protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT, PKI, etc).Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical integration requirements.


Desirable Skills:

Experience with supply chain ERP transformation, logistics, or procurement systems.Familiarity with SaaS solutions, serverless computing, and API-led connectivity.Certification in Oracle Integration Cloud.
 

Location: Commutable to Nottingham (Hybrid - On-site average 3 days per week.)

This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have (or be able to acquire) SC clearance.  Ad-hoc travel may be required to various customer and Leidos sites
