The opportunity
We are looking for a Lead IT BeNeLux to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will be in charge of the IT task coordination and liaison with the Business functions in BeNeLux.
Responsibilities:
Be a bridge between business and IT, both Regional and Local, whilst promoting strategies and priorities in both directions. Act as a strategic business partner and advisor, utilizing IT skills in project management and process definition. Focus on active vendor liaisons ensure regional procurement involvement to secure cost optimization. In this context, be the key contact point for Purchase Order creation for Regional IT demand as well as BeNeLux IT purchases. Support the business strategies and link them to the IT Strategies at country level ensuring business continuity is in focus. Assist with AOP planning and budget for local IT in cooperation with management, aligning with regional strategy and local requirements. Support and follow the purchase of country and regional IT needs through the creation of purchase orders.
To join our team you will need :
Experience:
Have 7+ of successful technical experience in a variety of IT disciplines gaining a conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies. 2-3 of those years should include exposure to a broad range of business planning, systems. analysis, and application development using new and emerging technologies. Have experience of developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Worked with multi-platform environments and have experience of their operational / security and social considerations. Established a successful track record of coordinating joint IT/Business teams through the various life-cycle phases (cross functional experience strongly desired). Good understanding of standard financial principles and budgeting.
Knowledge and skills:
Advanced knowledge of IT field and business, with an in-depth knowledge of several specialty areas (process or service line). Very Good business principles, such as budgeting, business case development, procurement, associate relations/Associate development, financial analysis, requirements specifications and Quality Assurance. Recognize, evaluate and establish change initiatives to meet business needs. Possess a good general knowledge of Project Management and ensure alignment with Global PMO initiatives. Strong communication and persuasion skills. Can establish and monitor informal / formal & internal / external communication networks. General knowledge of BU processes. Have the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal. Can resolve highly complex issues by creating alternative solutions. Have a good understanding the IT Infrastructure areas like hosting, telecom, mobile telephony or printing.
