Lead Java Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Java Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Spring Boot, Java, Microservices. Experience in the Payer domain is required. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our company’s goals and benefit society.

Location: Mesa Arizona

Responsibilities: Maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications. Participate in the design and architecture of scalable and robust software systems. Implement standard processes in software development to ensure high-quality code and efficient performance. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement. Primary Skills Hands on experience with Microservices architecture, JPA, Docker, JPOS. 10+ years of experience Tech stack: Java, Spring boot, Spring Rest, Microservices, JPA, JPOS, Docker, Good knowledge on JVM internals and capable of profiling already built services for performance bottlenecks – preferred Experience in building highly memory safe and secure Java applications which can be run on resource constraint devices – preferred JPOS/PCI device Experience - Preferred Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
