Job Description:

The Lead Landscape Technician is responsible for the supervision of (1) landscape team/crew ensuring the execution of maintenance and appearance of up to 27 RaceTrac convenience stores in a designated region. This individual is responsible for maintaining the landscape of up to 6 locations per day and conducting Ad hoc landscaping duties throughout the year. The Lead Landscape Technician is also responsible for reporting any maintenance or repair needs found at the location or with their truck and equipment via Service Channel

Responsibilities:

Act as the Team Lead for the Landscape TechnicianServe as the primary driver of the crew vehiclePrimary point of contact with Regional Service Manager regarding daily/weekly performance, execution, and opportunities for specific crewAids the Landscape Technician on repairs to equipmentMowing, using up to 50” or larger walk behind mower with Sulky, all turf areasString trimming all turf areas not accessible to a walk behind mowerEdge all curb, sidewalk, and driveway areasBlowing off all clippings and landscape debris from concrete areasPicking up trash throughout the propertyTrim trees, shrubs, plants, ivy, and ornamental grassesApply weed killer, pre and post emergent, and fertilizerStart-up, shutdown and perform repairs on irrigation systemsPerform maintenance on equipment to include changing mower blades, edger blades, string on trimmer, changing oil, oil filter, air filter and beltsResponsible for ordering suppliesResponsible for maintaining adequate stock levels of normal wear parts and chemicalsResponsible for the protection of the facility and customer as related to the landscape maintenance work

Qualifications:

Ability to work from 6am through 7pmGood driving record2+ years work experience preferredBasic understanding of small engine maintenance
