Lead Lathe Machinist
Direct Hire - Lead CNC Lathe Machinist Needed! 1st, 2nd, and Weekend SHIFT UP TO 80K

Job Description

Seeking a 2nd shift CNC Lathe Machinist candidate to perform full set-ups in a job shop environment. Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting machines, reading complex prints, and setting machines up to hold tolerances of +/- 0.0002. The materials will be a variety of stainless and exotic materials such as stainless, aluminum, Inconel, titanium, brass, etc. Live tooling experience is preferred. The shop has 5 different lathes, including dual spindle twin turrets. The average setup per shift is one, but this can vary depending on the complexity and nature of the job.

Essential Skills

- Experience as a lead or supervisor in a machine shop environment

- 5+ years of CNC lathe, mill, and swiss setup experience

- 2+ years of machining in a medical or aerospace environment holding tolerances of +-.0002

- Live-tooling or multi-axis experience preferred

- Knowledge of Tooling applications for exotic metals a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $83200.00/yr.

- Climate Controlled and super clean
- Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%)
- 2 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that
- Average tenure is 10+ years
- 12% shift differential
- Life Insurance

- Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits
