THE JOB:

As a Lead Lifeguard at Aria, your role will be pivotal in crafting memorable guest experiences by greeting them warmly and providing exceptional service.  Your attentiveness to their individual needs and stories will allow you to curate WOW moments, ensuring their memories extend long after their departure.  Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of both guests and employees on the pool deck, even amidst challenging outdoor conditions, including excessive heat.

THE STARTING RATE:  $17.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee the pool staff to meet safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness, and ambiance; work with supporting departments to meet operational needs of the area

Ensure the staff is providing safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations; adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property

Report all guests and employee incidents/accidents to a supervisor and complete needed documentation.

Ensure the staff is proactively greeting and interacting with guests while adhering to company service standards

Assist guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions, and other needs

Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties

Supervise the completion of daily pool set-up and breakdown needs, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Previous experience as a lifeguard

Prioritizes safety of guests and fellow employees

Self-described as positive and driven

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
