Lead Logistics - Inward

As the Lead Logistics - Inward, your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing strategies to optimize the inbound logistics operations for the copper business Leading a team of logistics professionals to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation, warehousing, and inventory management Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including procurement, manufacturing, and distribution teams, to synchronize inbound logistics with production and demand planning Negotiating and managing contracts with transportation and warehousing service providers to ensure service level agreements are met Utilizing data analytics and performance metrics to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of inbound logistics processes Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations related to transportation, import/export, and customs clearance Identifying and implementing innovative technologies and automation solutions to enhance the inbound logistics operations Providing leadership and mentorship to the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Conducting regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives, and providing coaching and development opportunities for team members

Experience

10-15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within the copper business industry Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations Proven experience in leading and developing teams
