Lead Maintenance Technician

The Lead Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists engineering teams in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.

You will work independently and in conjunction with an engineering team a 100,000 square foot Class A medical office building in Denver, CO.

Schedule: 8 Hours – First Shift – Onsite

Salary: Starting Pay Range is $28.85 - $31.25 DOE

Responsibilities

Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipmentComplete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure cleaning, minor plumbing repairs, locksmith work, tenant services requests and general maintenanceGeneral interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systemsMaintain lighting system bulbs and ballastsMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedPerform assigned property inspections and preventive maintenanceComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate themParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsMaintain a clean safe work environment and compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or LawsThis role may be required to work alone or with a teamOther projects and tasks to be assigned

Preferred Qualifications

1-3 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, plumbing, electrical or carpentryTrade school, union training, military service or college is desirableAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or driveStrong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and provide feedback/updates to management team

Estimated total compensation for this position:

60,000.00 – 65,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
