Lead Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Lead Maintenance Technician:

Direct Hire positionPay range based on experience and maintenance test score is $28-35 per hour plus shift differential ($1.00 for 3rd shift)Opening on 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am), will train on 1st shift (5:30am-2:00pm), must be available to work OT (roughly 40-48 hours per week)Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of all production equipment and packaging equipment including mixers, blenders, pumps, capping machines, labeling machines, palletizers, agitators, filling machines, conveyors, air compressors, coolers, turbines, and material storage tanksDetermine materials, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stockCoordinate and participate in scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on all production and supporting equipment, lean and direct 2-3 other maintenance employeesInstall, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departmentsAbility to inspect, monitor, and perform basic PMs on HVAC and water treatment devices for the entire plant (oiling, filter replacement)Coordinate with the supervisor scheduled and unscheduled work on the mechanical, electrical and other related systems throughout the entire plantComplete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelinesMust perform all work in a safe and efficient manner, as assigned per shiftPerform regular PMs (preventative maintenance) on all machinery and equipmentOiling/lubrication, inspection, and replacement of mechanical parts including belts, bearings, chains, sprockets, rollers, shafts, valves, and gearboxesBasic electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of 12volt – 480volt electrical systems, use voltmeter to check for power, and replace 3 phase motors, fuses, switches, sensors, photo eyes, contractors, and electrical wiringWelding and fabrication, torch/plasma cutting, and use of saws, grinders, and drill presses for fabricationBasic facilities maintenance as needed (plumbing, lighting, painting, outside grounds maintenance, etc.)Ability to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other related systems of all production and supporting department equipment in a safe and secure mannerAbility to read blueprints or schematicsThorough understanding and knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties (Lockout/Tagout, etc.)Have own tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
