What impact you’ll make?

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will establish internal processes that safely ensures the production of high quality products that meet compliance and project requirements for heavy duty gas turbine large machining operations. Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving cycle & cost, and resolving technical/process/quality issues. Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budget.

Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Proactively problem solve and utilize creative thinking to drive implementation of different initiatives within the cellLead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, tooling, process controls, and safety/ergonomic solutionsManage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metricsSupport execution of capital investments delivering desired outcomes on schedule & within budgetWork with cross-functional team to drive 5S, standard work, and other lean initiativesSupport product qualifications as neededMaintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality.Support improvements partnering with relevant departments to improve consumable costDevelop machine, fixture, and tooling strategies for new product introductionDevelop work instructions & procedures to support operator training and process controlMentor others in area of expertiseLead the cell Manufacturing Engineers everyday work, define priorities and helping to reach their goalsEnsure stable product/manufacturing support in the cell, make corrective actions (Lean, EHS, Quality, Technology) within deadlineImplement COQ actions in order to improve the process First Pass YieldParticipate to improve manufacturing layout/flow analysis/workers and machine needs

What you’ll bringBsc. Or Msc. degree in Engineering  (Advanced degree preferred)Significant experience as Manufacturing/Process/Product EngineerPractical knowledge of machining and fabrication techniquesFluent in English, HungarianLean approachDrawing/BOM understanding and correlationKnowledge in quality/productivity modern toolsTeam player behaviour, open minded and energetic personality,
