This is not a job – it is a solid **CAREER opportunity** with year over year growth. **What You’ll Do:** + Engine Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain four-stroke outboard engines, ensuring top performance. (Primarily Yamaha and Mercury) + Electrical & Electronics Work: Diagnose and install 12-volt electrical systems, including batteries, wiring, GPS, radar, depth finders, and navigation equipment. + Shop Leadership: Lead by example, mentor technicians, and ensure all repairs meet our high standards. + Customer Interaction: Clearly explain repairs, provide service updates, and build trust with boat owners. + Safety & Compliance: Follow all industry safety standards to keep our team and customers safe. + Equipment & Workspace Maintenance: Keep tools and the shop organized, functional, and efficient. **What We’re Looking For:** + Experience: 5+ years working on boats, with a focus on four-stroke outboard engines. + Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of marine electronics (GPS, radar, depth finders) and 12-volt electrical systems. + Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. + Leadership & Teamwork: Comfortable mentoring a team while also working independently.
