The Lead Massage Therapist must have industry knowledge and a fundamental understanding of each treatment protocol, revising and updating where necessary to ensure each treatment upholds the standards and expectations of the community. Additionally, the Lead Massage Therapist/ DEM will perform a variety of modalities ranging from Swedish to deep-tissue Massage and must feel comfortable working with hot stones while incorporating commonly used massage techniques with their hands, fingers, and elbows, knees, forearms.

Physical, Mental, and Visual Skills
• Prolonged periods of standing and providing massages.
• Good verbal and organizational skills.
• Must have the necessary arm, hand, and finger strength and dexterity to provide massages.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Educational and Experience Requirements
• Active certification as a licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Florida
• Active CPR/ AED certification (or willingness to become certified within 30 days of hire date)
• CEU Certification in Human Trafficking course as required by state law
• Experience working in Hotel/ Resort spa and/or country club environment preferred
• 3+ years experience as a professional massage therapist
