What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Meat Cutter at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
Master the Craft: Prepare all non-case ready meat products, including cutting, grinding, trimming, and wrapping, according to high meat cutting standards. Be a Leader: Provide guidance on sales floor operations, safety and sanitation, and inventory management, while mentoring team members and ensuring smooth meat department operations. Showcase Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge of different meat and seafood cuts, along with cooking techniques, to assist guests and maintain high-quality displays. Boost Sales & Quality: Ensure all meat products are packaged, labeled, and displayed in an appealing way, supporting sales while maintaining top food service standards. Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed as a Festival Foods Lead Meat Cutter, you should have:
Meat Cutting Experience: Prior experience in meat cutting is required, along with familiarity with perishable foods and food service. Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues about our meat selection and offerings. Leadership Skills: Ability to train and guide others in meat preparation and ensuring high standards are met.

Work Schedule:
The Lead Meat Cutter is an hourly position, with the potential for either part-time or full-time work. Your schedule may include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to work evenings or overnight when necessary.
