Provide technical expertise as the mechanical design and drafting\nsubject matter expert in the development of aircraft fuel systems. You will lead the mechanical design effort\nand be responsible for the product definition of fuel systems. You will prioritize safety and quality in\neverything that you do and lead with courage and integrity. You will help shape product roadmaps and\nserve as a key contributor during product ideation activities. You will serve as the mechanical design\nsubject matter expert during proposal and RFI response efforts. You will help resolve supplier, production,\nand customer issues. You will support\nvalue engineering and design revision activities. You will assign mechanical design and\ndrafting tasks to other engineers and serve as a mentor to your\nless-experienced colleagues. You will\nprovide reports to internal and external stakeholders. You will spearhead the advancement of mechanical\ndesign tools and processes, e.g., design automation, digital twins, digital\nthreads, etc. You will relentlessly seek\ncost savings by advancing concepts such as modular design, digital product\ndefinition, part standardization, Agile, etc.
