Lead Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical design and development, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design and development of projects from concept to production.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and industrial designers, to ensure successful product development.Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and BOMs.Conduct technical evaluations of potential suppliers, materials, and products.Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.Utilize computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and software to create and modify designs.Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate design feasibility and performance.Design electro-mechanical components and systems, including pneumatics and related control systems.Develop and maintain proficiency in Autodesk products, including AutoCAD and Inventor.Identify and troubleshoot technical problems and provide effective solutions.Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of work.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience as a mechanical engineer, with at least 5 years in a lead role.Expertise in mechanical design and related software, such as Autodesk products and CAD tools.Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical components and systems, including pneumatics.Experience with FEA and other analytical tools.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate technical challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
