What you'll do:

Demonstrates to patients and co-workers, friendliness and courtesy, professional behavior, sense of caring, cooperation between departments.Leads by example, demonstrating and personifying competent patient care.Orients new clinical support staff to policies and procedures set forth by Scripps.Act as a resource and trainer for medical assistants and other clinical staff.Desire to be a support and mentor clinical support staff.Responsible for collaborating with supervisor in completing Clinical training checklists.Ability to provide feedback effectively.Perform other work-related duties as required or requested.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

Certified Medical Assistant or Military Corpsman, plus two years applicable clinical experience.Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.

Required Certification/Registration:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or Military Corpsman program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions.American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.
