Lead Medical Scribe - Torrance

The Medical Scribe transcribes and documents all aspects of clinical visits, as dictated by provider in real time, as well as track labs and enter results from any ordered tests. Dictation occurs in an exam room with patient, and provider, and also in an office setting with the provider only.  Incumbent works closely with a team of clinic caregivers, including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.

Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

Electronic medical records.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some college. Completion of an accredited Medical Scribe program or 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant or 6 months of experience as a Medical Scribe. 2 years General hospital medical/surgical and/or ambulatory care transcription.
