Lead Merchandising Operations Coordinator
About The RoleThe Merchandising Operations Lead is responsible for being the first level of support for Merchandising Operations Coordinators acting as the SME, as well as resolving internally escalated priority issues from cross-functional departments. Additionally, specialized Lead-only tasks will be assigned as needed, typically with daily/weekly frequency, with the expectation of generating data insights, organized in various Google sheets/slides.

Additionally It is required that the Merchandising Operations Lead monitor the Coordinator team’s progress within their daily tasks, ensuring Coordinators are working in priority order, pacing to AHT/UPH/SLA goals, and providing first level coaching as needed

What You Get To Do Everyday

Support the Merchandising Operations (Zendesk and Quality) team, while being the subject matter expert (SME) of all department tasks, as well as the following: 

Ensure the Coordinator team is working department tasks in the correct priority order and following SOP. 

Act as the first level of support for the Coordinator team to provide guidance and clarification regarding assigned tasks.

Provide on the spot coaching to assist the Coordinator team achieve maximum efficiency. 

Complete Lead-only tasks as assigned, while generating insights. 

Monitor and ensure the staging area is organized and counted. 

Monitor various Google chats/spaces and ensure timely responses. 

Conduct regular reviews of task SOP/forms/sheets to ensure the Coordinator team is set up for success and is being instructed to work in the most efficient and productive manner possible. 

Conduct regular shadow/reverse shadow activities to ensure proficiency of the Coordinator team.

Train new hires as needed with the guidance of the Supervisor. 

Champion policy or operational changes within the department and promote a positive culture of adapting to new ideas and initiatives. 

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of experience working in a warehouse production environment

Comfortable with google sheets/excel

Someone who works well independently 

Strong communication skills

Able to communicate effectively through digital communication

Understanding of TRR operation pipeline

Detail-oriented

Great time management skills

Ability to prioritize daily tasks

Highly motivated and proactive 

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

Preferred Requirements:

Proficiency with Mac OS and Google Suite

Experience acting as a SME and providing coaching.

The expected hourly rate for this role is 20-22.25. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
