Boeing, Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a motivated, talented Mission Systems Integrator to join the Cruise Missile Systems team located in Saint Charles, Mo. In this position you will be responsible for coordination, alignment, and execution of overall CMS Mission Systems Hardware/Software integration plan from development, to production, to sustainment.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
Develop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
Work with customers and management to obtain approval
Respond to changes to SOW, assess the impact and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
Lead project execution to complete the work statement
Identify performance metrics
Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program
Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
Work under minimal direction.
Coordinates with technical leads, other program IPTs, and suppliers as appropriate to ensure Mission Systems Hardware/Software integration across the program and across Boeing’s cruise missile product line.
Develop clear and concise presentation of complex technical issues and their associated resolution plans. With the communication skills necessary to relay the issues and resolutions.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects or teams
1+ years of experience applying standard government analysis tools for analysis of complex military problems including weapons
1+ years of experience interfacing with senior military officials
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start
3 or more years of experience in systems engineering to include system architecture, requirements, interface development, allocation, verification and validation, risk management, integration and test
3 or more years of experience with avionics systems integration
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 5): $140,250 – $189,750
