\nKey responsibilities:
\n\nHave the ultimate responsibilities of understanding the customer specification requirements and ensure their integration into the Mechanical Flow Diagram (MFD) and the detail design\nManage the development of the detail design for new and existing products lines\nHold weekly meetings with the discipline engineering team members/ detail designer/ fabricator to address project development status and solve challenging technical requirements and problems\nCoordinate equipment procurement activities (modules, vessels, exchanges, rotating, instrumentation, and miscellaneous equipment)\nManage the fabrication process and partner with the fabricator to deliver equipment that exceeds customer’s expectations\nManage technical interface with customers, detail designer, fabricator (s), and internal discipline team\nCoordinate document submittals to/from Customer, detail design, and Fabricator\nResponsible for the assembly and issuance of Manufacturing Data Books\nManaging the project quality plans and checklists\nIdentify development steps to improve engineering quality and productivity, minimize detail design and fabrication change orders\nProvide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members\nSupport development of work processes/ procedures/ specifications\nProvide sales support for project opportunities being pursued\nInternational Travel to customer and supplier sites – 20% annually in 1 to 2 weeks’ duration\nAccountable for leading multi-discipline engineering and design team to execute modular process plant projects\nResponsible for overseeing engineering and design workhour budgets, project workhour forecasts, engineering schedules, and design quantities against budgets\nKey client interface for project technical issues including project design review meetings, 3D model reviews, constructability reviews, and closeout for modular projects\nAssist project management with quantity tracking and trending, change management, and schedule reviews\nOversee cross functional team in assembling and submitting subcontractor work packages for equipment manufacturing and module fabrication\n\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS

\n\nBachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field\n10-15 years of experience in a project engineering/ engineering project management role focused on mechanical equipment, modulization design of systems utilized in the refining, petrochemical and/or gas processing industries\nProject engineering experience with an EPC contractor\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nSignificant experience in projects, design engineering, or construction in the petroleum refining, petrochemical, or gas processing industries\nIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to lead teams, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events\nStrong oral and written communications skills\nWork effectively within a team-based environment\nStrong organizational skills multi-tasking skills and ability to adjust priorities quickly\nAbility to mentor and coach less experienced engineers\nInternational, multi-cultural experience\nProfessional Engineer or Project Management Professional Certification\nProject Controls experience (Cost and/or Schedule)\n\n\n
