Job Description:

 

The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing our client's networks.  Troubleshoot complex network issues in this enterprise environment while adhering to best practice security policies. 

Develop and deploy network solutions quickly. 

The person in this position will design, implement and manage Cisco switches and Firewalls (ASA or PIX).

Assist in LAN/WAN related changes and additions.

Implement and manage all aspects of network and security.

Work with IT team members to assess and solve company-wide IT issues.

Train and help all end-users on data and voice issues.

 

Qualifications:

5 Years of Network Administration experience.

5 Years working with Juniper SRX Firewall or CISCO Nexus Switches.

5 Years Load balancer experience (Cisco, Foundry, F5).

5 Years Data Center Core Network Design experience.

Experience with design, implementation and maintenance of TCP/IP networks using Cisco Routers and Switches. 

Knowledge of TCPIP, VLANs, QOS, EIGRP, BGP, Firewalls, IDS, IPSEC and SSL VPNs, and MPLS 

Solid understanding of network computing including file, print, application and database servers as well as Microsoft networking concepts especially Active Directory. 

Experience leading / mentoring teams. 

Ability to plan, manage and implement projects.

Deep analysis of Network traffic using a tool like WinShark

 

Desired Skills:

CCNP (Cisco Certification) or JNCIA (Juniper Certification)
