Our Nurses play an integral part in Change Grow Lives mission to help people change the direction of their lives, to grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you would offer specialist clinical interventions to people who use our services.
Here is your opportunity to lead the nursing team and support our multidisciplinary team, whilst continuing to provide clinical interventions to service users in the Wirral.
We have an excellent opportunity for an energetic and passionate Lead Substance Misuse Nurse at our Wirral service to help shape our vision in how we provide clinical services to individuals whose lives have been affected by drugs and alcohol.
Our teams are multi-disciplinary, they consist of a service manager, doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, recovery staff, volunteers, administrators, and peer mentors, all focussed on bringing the individuals using our services the best possible support & interventions.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary: £44,471.72 - £48,906.23 dependent on expereince (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Responsibilities:
As a lead nurse within the Change Grow Live Wirral service, you will work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be in their recovery journey.
In our services no two days are the same. Every person who comes into our service is treated as an individual so understanding the importance of a whole person approach along with being curious, a good listener, a clinically robust practitioner and having a flexible approach are essential skills.
Your role includes:
Demonstrating skills of a motivated leader including being enthusiastic, creative, ability to inspire and committed to leading the nursing team.Developing and delivery of clinical, health and wellbeing interventions. Providing clinical and managerial supervision to the nursing team.Contributing to service development to ensure that all who use our services consistently receive high quality interventions that adhere to best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards.Demonstrating excellent clinical skills and monitor, audit and sustain best practice across the sites within the location. Providing clinical interventions at hub and community sites.We want to support you to recognise and achieve your goals:
We hold regular national nurse and HCA forums, and you will have regular 1:1s and appraisals. We actively support our nurses with revalidation with protected continuing professional development time.
