Lead Office Clerk - Law Firm

Job Description:

The Lead Office Clerk will work in the office of Foley & Lardner LLP, one of Tallahassee’s premier law firms, assisting with general office duties, including mail, distribution services, copy, print, records, facilities, reception, and hospitality services .

Essential Job Responsibilities

Mail Services includes metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages per schedule.

Copy Services includes accurately producing copy, print and scan projects per written instructions.

Reception includes answering incoming telephone calls and routing to the appropriate person, will greet and announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Hospitality Services includes coordination and upkeep of client conference rooms, common areas and kitchens. Set-up and break-down of catering for in-office events. Inspect and ensure all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies. Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed. 

Floor Coordination includes the upkeep of copy rooms and stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance. Upkeep of common areas throughout the floors, ensuring all areas are stocked, operational, and clean.

Facilities Services may include hanging pictures, small office moves, and communication with key client contacts regarding building/equipment concerns.

Food Services coordinate and display catering orders for events.

Qualifications & Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years work experience in a customer services field

Ability to multitask with attention to detail

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact

Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater

Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.

Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

This position requires a driver's license and personal vehicle

FREE PARKING

Preferred Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday (In office / No remote work)

The Compensation range for this role is 17.86 to 23.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
