About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Operations Processor


In this role, you will:

Support management in the day-to-day supervision of less experienced team providing guidance, and resolution to issues contributing to overall effectiveness of teamProvide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Operations groupPerform or guide others on complex escalated issues that require planning, evaluation, and interpretationPrioritize work and provide daily work leadership and mentorship to teamProvide training and technical guidance to less experienced staffLead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among operation teamsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leadersExercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsServe as a resource to other departments on transaction structure, documentation, and company policies


Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Job Expectations:

Complete implementation requests on a wide array of product and service offerings.Review new and existing wire service requests and execute data entry of those services within databases and applications.Update and/or create account information that impacts pricing, revenue, and other financial reporting.Analyze and implement exception and complex requests.Respond to queries from business partners related to implementation.Perform routine administrative, system related, and customer support tasks.Collaborate with team, peers, manager on procedures.Partner with manager on walkthroughs with business partners.Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Adhere to the productivity and quality standards established by the department.Follow steps and procedures to ensure the appropriate risk controls are met.Review, validate and verify input from workable reports that impact correspondent transactions and processing rules.Review and validate input from reports for bulk updates and projects from various business partners.Perform Quality Control on complex implementations.Train/coach new hires and less experienced peers on wire services processes.Coordinate and assign incoming implementation requests to team members.Monitor queues to ensure no latency or bottleneck.Review, validate and verify input from workable reports that impact correspondent pay-through, Dodd Frank eligible transactions and processing rules.Subject matter expertise on moderate to complex inquiries.Coordinate special handling assignments.Review and verify implementations executed by peers.
