The Lead Operator, Manufacturing position will work closely with production team leader, managers within Manufacturing Services department and interact with multiple departments to support production demand and ensure achievement of company goals following the 4I values.
A Day in the Life
Lead and develop the team’s daily accountability and management boards while keeping department manager updated on performance goals.Provide direction, coordination, training and mentoring for all team members.Ensure that materials are ready for work orders, and that employees are organized to complete daily tasks.Coordinate with Planning team to prioritize work and adhere to production schedule.Participate Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean, and 5-S programs while working with other departments to troubleshoot processes/procedures to deliver recommended solutions.Attend required meeting as Department RepresentativeManufacture and/or test complex products following cGMP and completes all necessary documentation in accordance with quality system while resolving any department NCARs and CAPAs.Write, review, and modify SOPs, work instructions, and reports.Review and approve completed batch records and other documentations.Perform and review inventory transactions using MRP system.Track and trend employee performance and equipment productivity, while identifying potential improvements.Participate in inventory management activities.Coordinate with EHS to review and identify any potential job hazards for filling group and implement, reinforce team members to follow safety policy for a safe work environment.Work with Engineering team to complete equipment validation and coordinate training activities.Perform other job duties as required by department and/or Management.Keys to Success
Minimum of 3-4 years of direct related experience working in a manufacturing environment, 2-year degree preferred.1+ years of leadership experience1+ years of coaching/training experience preferred.Demonstrated leadership abilities with projects and/or teams.Must possess immediate knowledge and mechanic experience in operating and troubleshooting complex filling equipment.Strong understanding of Quality System Regulations, cGMP, and ISO; experience with nonconformances and CAPA.Strong interpersonal skillsSuperior interpersonal skills, task management, time management, and attention to detailAble to adapt to changing needs caused by time, budget, or other constraints.Able to exercise sound judgment in reacting to problems inherent to the process.Must be highly collaborative, proficient in team management and conflict resolution.Ability to communicate effectively with complementary team members, senior management, and other departmentsStrong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Words, Excel, Power Point)Experienced in working with potentially hazardous chemicals and human source materials.Ability to learn and apply available software to communicate production issues across operational teams and report daily manufacturing productivity.Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to use electronic management systems to print all required documents to complete the daily work as indicated in the production schedule.Benefits

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $25.12–$37.65.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
