Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Databases are operating efficiently and effectively.Support database migrations and consolidations (ad-hoc and scheduled).Oversee database replication, which may include the setup for new replication activities.Develop Service Design Packages and maintain SOPs for all Oracle database systemsResponsible for insuring compliance with all regulations, upgrade and optimize the performance of Oracle Databases and support future planning effortsConfigure environments for and in support of all Oracle database related aspects of user acceptance testing, functional acceptance testing, system-level testing, database security testing, installation/migration testing, configuration/compatibility testing, and performance, load and stress testing, as well as support of systems assurance tasks.

Location: Annapolis Junction MD [On-site]Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% TravelWorking Hours: Standard 40 hour per week

Qualifications :

Required:

Clearance: Top Secret with SCIMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDMinimum of 10+ years of Database Administration (DBA) experienceMinimum of 8+ years database design including, capacity planning, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security, data recovery and troubleshootingProven general knowledge in virtualization and networking, and a working knowledge of MS ProjectProven experience insuring compliance with all regulations, upgrades, optimizing the performance of all databases, and supporting future planningOracle DB certification; Version 12 or aboveCurrent ITIL Foundations certification

Desired:

Oracle Certified Master certification

Basic Compensation:

$200,000 to $210,000

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
